Home Groups

Home Groups are a great way to be encouraged in our Christian lives. In groups of about 6-10 we get to know other members of the congregation, study the Bible together, and pray. Homegroups are for everyone – you don’t have to be a Bible expert or to pray out loud.

We have groups that meet at different venues in the parish and around Colchester, on different days and at different times. There’s probably one that’s right for you! If you’d like to find out then chat to Andy Saville (tel. Colchester 242112).

Prayer Focus

This is our key meeting of the month – the spiritual powerhouse of the church’s life! On the 4th Thursday of every month around 20-30 of us meet for our church prayer meeting. We meet from 8pm, with coffee, tea and cakes being served and then usually start the prayers at around 8:15. Each section usually has a few minutes of introduction as news is shared, and then we either pray as a large group, or break into smaller groups. There is no expectation for everyone to pray out loud, but we can all add our amen. Do come along!
