A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the Harvest Thanksgiving Weekend and School Services go so well. We have received much positive and appreciative feedback regarding the ceilidh, supper and four harvest services. At the two school services it was wonderful to see both church buildings full to the brim with All Saints Fordham and Holy Trinity Eight Ash Green school children and their wider families. Lots of food was donated for the Colchester Food Bank  https://colchester.foodbank.org.uk/

across the four services.

Jesus is the Eternal Life Super Food During the services we gave thanks to God for our favourite foods and focused on Jesus’ amazing teaching in John’s Gospel chapter 6. Jesus tells us that we need eternal life food more than we need ordinary food. He is the eternal life food which we can receive by believing in him. Our key verses were John 6.47- 48 “I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. I am the bread of life.” What a promise!
