Don't miss out!

Sunday 18 & 25 June 2017 - The Cricketers' Pub, Eight Ash Green

The Mission working group met at the end of the autumn term and we decided not to have a full mission to the parish. However, many were keen to do some door to door visiting and to seek to put into practice what we have learned from the book of Romans in reaching out to others. So, we will be having a training session on Monday June 5th to learn how to take a person through the questionnaire we will be using door to door, much like the questionnaire used in 2014 during A Passion for Life. Sunday @6 will be meeting in the cricketers Pub on the evenings of 18 and 25 June and I will be speaking on the most common questions people ask on the doors. Do save the dates and clear some time to speak about Jesus to people in the parish during those weeks!

24 to 26 July 2017 - Do book the dates in your diary and see Duncan Brisk for ways in which you can get involved - all can be! There will be a meeting for all involved on 22 May at 7.30pm in the JOhn Owen Barn and specifically for leaders of the the groups on the 6 March and 10 July, both at 7.30pm.

This is a course for those who have never really understood what Christianity is all about or
want to go over the basics again as a foundation. Any question that comes to mind is
always welcome. There is no expectation that we read out loud, pray or sing (or indeed do
anything embarrassing). Rather the course presents the teaching and life of Jesus from
Mark’s gospel via DVD, we read Mark’s gospel over the 7 weeks and ask any question we
would like from that or indeed any aspect of the Christian faith.

Contact John Parker for more details.

We can do nothing without God. Do join us to pray for the preaching of God’s word.
Sundays: 9.35am in Room 1 of the John Owen Barn for Fordham 10.00am, 10.45am in the vestry
